Prof. Venugopal Iyengar
Prof. Venugopal Iyengar is associated with industry and trade bodies such as National Association of Software and Services Companies ('NASSCOM'), Confederation of Indian Industry ('CII'), Indian Merchant Chambers ('IMC'), European Union ('EU') Council and Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry ('BCC&I') and has provided inputs in the area of IT Governance/Information Security to members and organizations such as Mumbai Police, Information Technology (‘IT’) and IT Enabled Services (‘ITES’), Small & Medium Enterprises (‘SMEs’) and others. He is a well known speaker on IT Governance, Business Continuity, Disaster Management, information security and IS audit at various domestic and international platforms.
He is certified for Business Continuity Management System (‘BCMS’) using BS 25999 as Lead Auditor / Assessor from UKAS, UK through BSI Management Systems in 2007. His other credentials are Certified Information Systems Auditor (‘CISA’), Certified Information Systems Manager (‘CISM’), Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (‘CGEIT’), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (‘CISSP’), Associate of Certified Fraud Examiners.
He presented the paper “Disaster Recovery and Mission Continuity Strategy” at the DEFCON2005 organized by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) on May 27, 2005
Mr. Vijay Kalantri
Mr. Vijay Kalantri, is the head of several leading organizations, among them the All India Association of Industries, Indian Council of Foreign Trade, Indo Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Indo Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry, All India Manufacturers Organisation, India-UNIDO Industries Council, Association of Machinery Merchants Textile Stores of India- to name just a few.
His active involvement with economic and business activities has culminated in his active participation as a key speaker at international conferences and seminars in various parts of the world.
As part of his role in various organizations, he has actively espoused the cause of Business Continuity Management.
Mr. Vijay Magan
Mr. Magan is a B.Tech with 41 years of experience in Operations, Project, Quality, Business Excellence and General Management in reputed companies in India and Abroad. He is currently working with British Standard Management System as Sr. Vice President & Lead Auditor/ Assessor for BS25999 and Business Risk Assessment among others. He is amongst the first 15 assessors in the world to be trained by BSI in UK in 2007 on Business Continuity Management System BS25999. He has also done Business Continuity Management Auditor course conducted by BCP Asia covering SS540 and BS25999 IN 2009 at Singapore.
He was a speaker at the seventh Annual Business Continuity Management Conference 2007 at Singapore organized by BCP Asia titled “Crisis is possible Overcoming is nothing”. At SBF & ASME jointly organized BCM Seminar in June 09 at Singapore titled “How Much Do You Know and How Prepared are You?” he moderated a panel discussion consisting of eminent speakers from Singapore Business Federation, SPRING, Association of Small & Medium Enterprises, Asian Risk Management Institute ,Raffles Medical group and IBM.
Mr. Neeraj Shrivastava
Aluminous of a Military School and the National Defence Academy of India, Lieutenant Colonel Neeraj Shrivastava was commissioned into the Rajputana Rifles (Infantry) in the year 1985.
His most challenging military assignment was to strategize and deploy war-resources to provide secured movements to vehicular-convoys, which carried war-material and troops across the 700 KM of Jammu-Srinagar-Leh and the arterial highways in Jammu & Kashmir. The assignment demanded impromptu mobilization of critical-resources for disaster-management, most of which were caused due to terrorist actions and sometimes even due to the road accidents and extreme cold winter. He has received several accolades for handling more than fifty of such disaster situations.
In 2006, Lt. Col. Neeraj has been the ‘National Risk Manager’ in the ‘Business Continuity Management Group’ of the ICICI Bank Ltd - India’s largest private sector Bank. Lt Col Neeraj is credited with drafting - the ICICI Bank’s Corporate Plan on BCM, formats for BIA and BCP, Emergency Response Plans (ERP) and its roll-out plan. His paper on documenting the Corporate Plan on BCM has been accepted for being presented during the “World Conference and Exhibition”, which is organized by the BCI at London on the November 11-12, 2009.
